The things people ask before they get started.
Processly is a place to document how your organization works. You write down each process as a clear step-by-step SOP, keep company policies alongside them, and everyone knows where to look. AI can draft the first version from a short description.
Those tools store files. Processly manages the process around them. A well-organized folder tells you where a document is, but not whether it is current, who owns it or whether anyone approved it. In Processly every SOP and policy has the same clear structure, a named owner, an approval step, a version history and a due date. Across the whole organization you can see what is documented, what is in review and what is overdue, which a template, a spreadsheet or a shared folder leaves to discipline and goodwill.
No. If you can describe a task in plain words, you can document it. Processly guides you through the sections of an SOP, and you can start from a ready-made template for Finance, HR or Procurement.
It is optional. You describe a process in a few sentences and Processly drafts the SOP for you, so you start from a full draft and not a blank page. When you use it, the description you type is sent to Google's Gemini service to generate the draft. Nothing is saved or published until you have reviewed and edited it. If you speak instead of typing, your browser converts your voice to text using its own speech service; in Chrome, that service is run by Google.
Policies are visible to everyone in your organization. Processes are visible only to the people given access to that department, plus admins. When you invite someone, you choose which departments they can see, and you can change it later from the Team page.
Yes. Everyone in your organization is a Viewer, a Contributor or an Admin. Contributors draft the documents they own and submit them, and an admin approves them or sends them back with comments. Only approved versions are visible to readers, and every approved version is kept. Admins can open an audit log showing who created, submitted, approved, exported, changed access to or deleted what, and when. Approval today is a single admin sign-off. Chains with several approvers in sequence are not available.
Yes. In Organization settings, an admin can turn off export and download, and printing and copying, for everyone except admins. Every export is also recorded in the audit log. This stops casual downloading and copying, but it cannot prevent screenshots. For the most sensitive material, combine it with department access so only the right people can open the document at all.
With their Google account. That can be a personal Gmail address or a Google Workspace work account, so there are no extra passwords to manage. Enterprise single sign-on through providers such as Okta or Microsoft Entra ID is not available yet.
Your content is stored on Google Cloud, within your organization's own workspace in Processly, and access is limited to the people you invite. You can export your published SOPs and policies whenever you like, so you are never locked in.
You can start for free. If paid plans are introduced later, we will tell existing organizations well in advance.
Describe how a process works and let AI write it up. It takes under a minute to get going.
